KATHERINE M. MAJSZAK LANSING, IL Katherine M. Majszak, age 33, of Lansing, IL passed away Friday December 10, 2010. She is survived by her parents: Michael (Susan) Majszak; brother, Anthony (Anita) Majszak; sister, Lisa (Todd) Hlinko; step grandmother; Maryann Majszak; nieces and nephews: Justin, Alyssa, Jordan, Charlotte, and Frederick; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, December 17, 2010 from 3:00 8:00 PM at the Schroeder Lauer Funeral Home, 3227 Ridge Road, Lansing, IL. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 PM. Kate graduated from St. Victor Grade School, TF North High School, and South Suburban College. Kate had a huge heart. She was a happy and very outgoing person that loved spending time with her family and friends. KATHERINE “Kay” HEGLUND September 6, 1919 February 12, 2010 Kay was a graduate of Lake land High School and Florida Southern College. She was married to Earl “Honey” Heglund for thirty years until he passed away in 1970. Kay taught school for fifty ugg boots on sale years, primarily in the Palm Beach County school system. As a woman of faith, her love language was helps, and she enjoyed serving others in many capacities. Her greatest joy and ministry was being “Grandma Kay” to all the babies and children in her church nursery, as well as to her own grandchil ugg boots on sale dren. She devotedly loved and supported every person in her family her children, their spouses (whom she affectionately called her “sons in love” and “daughters in love”), her grandchildren and great grandchildren. The Lord blessed Kay and Earl with six children: Linda (Dale) Butler, Ted (Judith) Heglund, Carolyn (Rodney) Smith, Dennis [1950 2006] (Phyllis) Heglund, Lorna (J ugg boots on sale im) Sampsell, and Chris Heglund. She also had 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Kay will be greatly missed by her siblings, immediate and extended family members, friends and all who has the privilege of being touched by her life.
