Gary Conrad Madsen, 59, of Eagle, Idaho, passed away far too young March 15, 2013. He was born Aug. 3, 1953, to Dayle Conrad and Melgene Noble Madsen, in Cache Valley, Utah.

Gary was raised in Logan, Utah, and attended the public schools there. He gr ugg trainers aduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and in 1982 received his master’s degree.

On June 22, 1979, Gary married the love of his life, and his best friend, Jackie Sizemore Madsen. They were married for 33 loving and adventurous years.

Gary and Jackie had three children, Austin, Kirstin and Dakota. He was very proud of his children, and he cherished and bragged about the many milestones in their lives. One of his favorite things in life was the time he spent with his family.

Gary was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. He had the opportunity to be an early morning Seminary teacher while living in Washington. His favorite calling was serving as a bishopric counselor in a single adult ward in Eagle, Idaho. Ga ugg trainers ry was an Eagle Scout and put that training to use throughout his life.

Gary had many talents and hobbies. You would often find him on the ski slopes in Utah, hiking a trail to hunt or in a stream catching fish. He was a great craftsman and artist. Gary worked for Hewlett Packard for more than 30 year ugg trainers s as a mechanical engineer. He was respected for his technical abilities and the contributions he made to HP.

Gary is survived by his wife Jackie of Eagle, Idaho; sons Austin and Dakota of Eagle, Idaho; daughter Kirstin (Kyle) Fullerton of Moscow, Idaho; sister Diane Jackson of Boise, Idaho; and brothers Craig (Lisa) Madsen of Logan, Utah, and Kim Madsen of Ogden, Utah.

Gary Robert Chapman, 60, of Colchester, passed away suddenly Novemb ugg trainers er 29, 2013. Born June 18, 1953 in Woburn, MA, he was a son of Woodford Chapman of Derry, NH and the late Alice (Omelia) Chapman. He leaves his loving wife of 35 years, Laurene “Laurie” (Verity) Chapman (owner of Laurie’s Creations of Colchester); two sons, Kevin and Michael; honorary son, Steve Liberty; a grandson, Landon; his father, Woodford; five siblings, David, Glenn and Robert Chapman, Kathleen Robinson and E ugg trainers lizabeth Abdelrehim; his father in law, George Verity; and numerous extended family and friends. Gary was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH. He went on to serve proudly with the United States Navy in the submarine service aboard the SSBN Nathanael Greene and actually met his future wife, Laurie, on a dependents’ cruise. He was an IT Technician for many years for Asea Brown Boveri and most recently worked for C 9 Sales of Derry, NH. Gary passed away Thanksgiving evening after spending an amazing day with his son, Kevin, and son in law to be, Michael Sutherland, who prepared and served a great meal. Gary’s wife, Laurie, posted on Facebook earlier in the day that she felt blessed in life, and that she was thankful for everyone and everything in her life. She wished all a Happy Thanksgiving. ugg trainers Gary grew up in New Hampshire, with five siblings, Kathy, David, Glenn, Bobby and Beth, and father, Woody and mother, Alice. This family is one of the most fun loving groups of people you have ever been around. His father, the family Patriarch, is famous for instigating family skits. Gary married Laurie Verity in February of 1978 and they had a special way of making everyone welcome in their home. They raised two amazing sons, Kevin and Michael, who were the highlight of their lives. It was not unusual to find their house filled with kids, friends, Gary’s family from New Hampshire or Laurie’s family from Long Island; and the next morning all scattered about the house in sleeping bags. Son, Mike and his fianc Ashley Lucas, brought more joy to Gary’s life with the birth of grandson, Landon. With Gary’s passing, his family and friends have lost a father, friend, uncle, brother, son, grandfather, husband, and one amazing man. We love and miss him. Friends may call 4 to 7 PM Monday (Dec. 2nd) at the Aurora McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Road, Colchester. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 10:30 AM Tuesday (Dec. 3rd) directly at St. Andrew Church, 128 Norwich Avenue, Colchester. Burial with military honors will follow in the New St. Andrew Cemetery, Gillette’s Lane, Colchester.
