COOPER, Neva NEVA FLETCHER COOPER Ne uggs on sale va Fletcher Cooper, 98, of Decatur met her savior peacefully in her home, Thursday, August 9, 2012, with her son at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Robert F. Cooper and her eldest son, Charles Franklin C uggs on sale ooper. Also preceding her in death was family: parents: Geneva Carmichael Fletcher, Charles Webster Fletcher: brothers: William, Charles; sisters: Mary, Sarah. Neva graduated from Jackson High School, and continued her education at Locust Grove Institute in music, she taught piano at Towaliga School. After moving to Thomaston, Griffin and Columbus because of Frank’s promotions, they transferred to Atlanta, where she lived in the same house for 59 years. Neva continued teaching piano in her home for many years. Neva was an excellent seamstress and made all her own clothes. She took pride in stating she only had “5 store bought dresses”. She worked in the 5 year old nursery at Peachtree Baptist Church for 15 years. They moved their membership to Briarlake Baptist Church in 1972. She was a charter member of the Business and Professional Women’s Class. Neva made sewn Christmas bags from felt for Meadowbrooke Nursing Home for uggs on sale 20 years. Then she and Frank star uggs on sale ted purchasing bags for the nursing home through Frank’s Sunday School Class, the Businessmen’s Bible Class. The bags were packed and delivered to Meadowbrooke at the annual party by Santa Claus to every patient for 35 years. This event continues today. Neva was the oldest resident member of Briarlake Baptist. She was an avid bridge player for over 30 years. Neva also did ceramics, tole painting, decoupage and needlepoint. Neva is survived by a son, Robert S. Cooper; daughter in law: Mary Pender Cooper; sister in law: Cora Cooper; 2 granddaughters: Angela Rain Wolfe (Tommy), Stacia Lee Lodge (Michael); 2 grandsons: Jeffrey Todd Cooper (D’ree), James Robert Cooper; 7 great grandchildren: Chase Wolfe, Caitlin Cooper, Cooper Wolfe, Asher Lodge, Jackson Cooper, Caiden Lodge, and Kitra Lodge; nephews nieces: Eddie Cooper (Wilma), Billy Cooper (Virginia), Bernice Letson (Bobby), Bennie Fletcher (Marilyn), Margaret Knight (Lanier), Robin Fletcher (Nancy). Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 12 at 2:00 pm at Briarlake Baptist Church, 3715 LaVista Road, Decatur. She will lie in state 1 hour prior to service. Visitation will be Saturday, August 11 from 5:00 pm 8:00 pm at Turner’s Funeral Home. Honorary Pallbearers are Business and Professional Women’s Class and Businessmen’s Bible Class. View Naomi MUNSELL’s Obituary

MUNSELL, Naomi Naomi Rae Munsell passed away Friday, December 20, 2013. She was born and raised in Des Moines, IA. Naomi attended Drake University and later worked as a secretary until she married Art Munsell in 1950. She never worked again except as a volunteer at hospitals and senior centers. Due to Art’s work they lived in Ohio, North Carolina, Germany, and Snellville, GA. Naomi, Art, and their 3 children traveled throughout 46 states and eastern Canada camping uggs on sale with a tent and sleeping bags. While living in Heidelberg, Germany during the 70’s, they traveled on business and pleasure throughout Europe, often camping in their tent. In ’79 they returned to the US and settled in Snellville, GA. Art retired in ’83. With no time restrictions they got down to heavy duty traveling on their own throughout 6 of the 7 continents of the world. Yes, sometimes living in their tent, but often renti uggs on sale ng houses or apartments in foreign countries and living like the natives. Naomi loved music and was the soloist at several churches. She loved working in her flower gardens, did beautiful chinaware painting, was a great ballroom dancer throughout her married life, and at age 66 became a certified scuba diver, diving reefs in the Atlantic and South Pacific. Yes, she lived a long and fun life and left her family with many happy memories. Surviving Naomi are her loving husband of 63 years, Art Munsell; their son, Clark Munsell and wife Chris; their daughter, Lynn Irwin and husband, Dail uggs on sale ; their son, Ray and wife, Mell; and 4 terrific grandchildren.
