Chris L. “Bill” Higgins and G. Louise (Roshon) Higgins who survives in Galion. She married Greg P. She was a graduate of Crestline High School, Class of 1974. She had worked at the Shelb ugs y Eagles Lodge for many years. Chris collec ugs ted her “treasures” and considered everything a ‘treasure’. She was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Moose Lodge, Owl’s Club, and Dicksters, all in Shelby. She loved her grandch ugs ildren and enjoye ugs d crocheting, making corn hole bags, and golfing. Together on a golf team with her husband and sons, they won The Toilet Bowl Golf Outing and took home the prized trophy, a toilet. Chris was a fan of the University of Michigan Wolverines, the St. at the Mark A. Schneider Funeral Home, Crestline. Wednesday at the funeral home with Deacon Stephen Keller officiating. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bethlehem, with Rev. Michael A. Geiger, Celebrant.

Cheryl F. Perkins HawkinsFebruary 21, 1937 February 29, 2012SILVERTON Cheryl passed away on Feb. 29th with her loving family by her side. She was born in Salem, OR to Leroy and Velva Perkins. After high school she married Delbert Carter and they had 4 sons, Jeff, Scott, Chris, and Paul. After her divorce from Delbert she met the love of her live. Cheryl was very creative and talented with her hands. She made the most beautiful handcrafted dolls, beaded b ugs ags, and needlepoint. She and her sister, Billie, owned a ceramic shop and loved to teach others what they knew. Cheryl loved to be with her fa ugs > ugs mily and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Willamette Valley Hospice, 1015 3rd ugs Street NW, Salem, OR, (503)588 3600, 800 555 2431.
