Katherine A. Putt LEBANON Katherine A. Putt, 95, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Cedar Haven Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Russell R. Putt. She was born at home in Long Island, New York, on June 10, 1917. As a young girl she was aspiring to become a ballerina, her plans changed when her father died suddenly. She worked for Moritz Custom Evening Bags For Ladies in Manhattan, NY, where she sewed by hand beads to decorate these evening bags. She met Russell when she went to PA to visit her aunt and two years later they were married. She worked for the Lebanon Paper Box for 39 years. She was a women of adventure. She rode a moto ugg boots on sale rcycle, camped and hunted along side her husband ugg boots on sale . She enjoyed da ugg boots on sale ncing, especially polka. She was outspoken on things that mattered to her. There is a saying that goes “You can take the person out of New York, but you can’t take New York out of the person.” She was the family historian with stories about relatives the family had in Europe and the United States. She was a loving aunt to, Veronica Gibbons, Anne Pappas, Dolly Reppert and Jim Reppert. Grand aunt to, John Stephen, Jennifer, Stan, John, Katherine and Sharon. Also great aunt to five.
