MUNSELL, Naomi Naomi Rae Munsell passed away Friday, December 20, 2013. She was born and raised in Des Moines, IA. Naomi attended Drake University and later worked as a secretary until she married Art Munsell in 1950. She never worked again except as a volunteer at hospitals and senior centers. Due to Art’s work they lived in Ohio, North Carolina, Germany, and Snellville, GA. Naomi, Art, and their 3 children traveled throughout 46 states and eastern Canada camping uggs on sale with a tent and sleeping bags. While living in Heidelberg, Germany during the 70’s, they traveled on business and pleasure throughout Europe, often camping in their tent. In ’79 they returned to the US and settled in Snellville, GA. Art retired in ’83. With no time restrictions they got down to heavy duty traveling on their own throughout 6 of the 7 continents of the world. Yes, sometimes living in their tent, but often renti uggs on sale ng houses or apartments in foreign countries and living like the natives. Naomi loved music and was the soloist at several churches. She loved working in her flower gardens, did beautiful chinaware painting, was a great ballroom dancer throughout her married life, and at age 66 became a certified scuba diver, diving reefs in the Atlantic and South Pacific. Yes, she lived a long and fun life and left her family with many happy memories. Surviving Naomi are her loving husband of 63 years, Art Munsell; their son, Clark Munsell and wife Chris; their daughter, Lynn Irwin and husband, Dail uggs on sale ; their son, Ray and wife, Mell; and 4 terrific grandchildren.
