up works with alum to build retail strategy
Buena Vida Coffee, a Marquette student run venture founded in 2010, recently launched a retail strategy under the mentorship of Marquette Business alumnus Jim Sartori (1977), CEO of Sartori Cheese.
With his guidance, Buena Vida met with buyers at Milwaukee based Sendik Food Markets and launched its product line in the New Berlin, Wis., store in December 2012. The team recently expanded to the chain Mequon, Wis., location in April 2013 and has held a series of demos at both locations.
Sartori Cheese has also served as the pilot for Buena Vida Coffee office coffee program, providing coffee in several Sartori Cheese locations.
